Dear Parents/Carers,
Our third school term is now well underway, and our children and young people are hard at work! P7 are busy preparing for their school show, P3 will be welcoming parents, carers and friends to their Fairtrade Toast Café on 6 March, and many in P4 are preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We will also be celebrating World Book Day on 5 March! Our secondary Fairtrade group will also be hosting a Fairtrade Coffee Morning on Shrove Tuesday – so we can be sure to use up the biscuits before the start of Lent! During Lent we will be sending SCIAF boxes home to collect loose change – every penny makes a difference, so please support if you can. In the coming weeks, we are looking forward to holding our own Careers Fair to help our primary and secondary pupils consider their future careers. Senior pupils are completing National 3 and 4 courses, and many are preparing for National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher and other exams. If you want to know how you can help your child prepare for exams, there’s some great advice from the National Parent Forum – click here.
