P7 visit the Blackwatch Museum
Both P7 classes took a very exciting trip to the Blackwatch Museum so that we could learn more about our World War 2 topic. We went round the museum and looked at all the artefacts they had from World War 1 and 2. We were in two groups, some people were upstairs doing a quiz on World War 2 and some people were downstairs trying on different outfits they would wear in the war, and then we swapped around. After that we went around the rest of the museum.
We visited a number of galleries and learned all about the Blackwatch from the 1700s to present day. Finally we saw a video that showed us how the poppies were made for the Weeping Window poppy display. It was very interesting and very fun. Kira and Alex
